Biography袁熾標是土生土長的香港人，經朋友介紹，年僅13歲即加入半島酒店任門僮。受訪時袁仍任職半島，見證了酒店數十年間的改變和革新。
Bill Yuen Chi-biu was born and raised in Hong Kong. He joined The Peninsula Hong Kong in 1946 at the age of 13 and has been with the hotel for almost 50 years by the time of the interview.
