BiographyBorn Peter Nachemstein to Jewish German parents, Nash fled to Shanghai and was one of the students of the Shanghai Jewish Youth Association Centre and School (The Kadoorie School), which was funded by Sir Horace Kadoorie. Nash moved to Australia in 1949 and had stayed briefly at The Peninsula Hotel en route.
