Biography梁植於1949年從內地來港，投靠在嘉道理大宅當保姆的親戚煥姑，從而獲得賀理士嘉道理的信任及支持，加入香港農業生產行業，及後成為新界的大豬農，並協助其他農民發展農業。
Leung Chik came to Hong Kong in 1949 to live with a relative who worked as a nanny for the Kadoories. Leung later gained the support of Sir Horace Kadoorie and established himself in the agricultural business in Hong Kong. At the time of the interview, Leung was serving as Chairman of The Pig Raising Co-operative Societies HK, Kowloon & New Territories.
