BiographyHugo Gose was born in Shanghai to a Portuguese family. He moved to Hong Kong in 1928 and was educated at La Salle College. Gose spent a large portion of the war in Hong Kong before moving to Macau along with many others from the Portuguese community. He went on to work for Shell in the accounts department.
