A Partnership with the People - KAAA and Postwar Agricultural Hong Kong

This exhibition told the story of the launch of the Kadoorie Agricultural Aid Association (KAAA) in 1951 by brothers Lawrence and Horace Kadoorie, following the influx of refugees into Hong Kong from Mainland China in the late 1940s. Featuring oral history interviews with KAAA beneficiaries and former employees, and photos and historical materials from the HKHP Archive, the exhibition chronicled how KAAA helped people help themselves.
